Then I manually changed the code in the pluggable.php (not pluggable-functions.php) adding the two forward slashes and I ended up with a white screen on the new post page. It would load the top portion of the new post page quickly, but it couldn't seem to finish the bottom of the post page...it would white out the bottom portion, though there was no error code.
